Direct instruction

For smaller or easily standardized surgical procedures, direct admission to our clinic is possible.

This means that patients receive an appointment for the surgical procedure directly and do not have to present themselves at our outpatient clinic to plan the procedure. Patients then usually present themselves at our clinic one day before the operation for clarification, completion of diagnostics and premedication if necessary.

During the preoperative day, the patients to be operated on are introduced to the clinic director or her deputy at the lunchtime meeting and the indication is checked.

We hope that this measure will simplify surgery planning for patients - at the same time, we can reduce the number of contacts that would otherwise be necessary for them until the surgery date.
